Wylie and I have been working together for some time now and, at times, it’s as if we share a brain.  My case in point; the other day I sent an email to Wylie and cc’d Shaun (my husband and business partner).  The email was intended for Wylie so I obviously spoke in “our” language.  When Shaun received the email, he responded saying he had no idea what I was saying.  Two minutes later Wylie responded, tears of laughter streaming down his face and said no problem.

It’s the silliness that drives us at times, but in my personal opinion, it’s a requirement for us.  It keeps us on our toes and our creative juices flowing.

One of the great things about being your own boss is that you can have fun!  No one is going to judge you or assume that because you’re having fun at work, you’re not working hard enough.  If you’re not having fun in your career (or at least getting some enjoyment out of what you’re doing), then you might need a change.  I’m sure Wylie will agree with me; in fact, I know it...we share a brain after all‚ò∫
