Now that Wylie is officially working with us full-time, our office has become quite amusing and our work even more constructive.  We sit within a close proximity to each other, but communicate predominantly through instant messaging.  Often times we can hear each other’s responses to a message and, in Wylie’s case, even hear the typing of my keyboard before receiving a message.

We book “meetings” which usually involves me getting up and going to Wylie’s work area to discuss a project or review a design.  Even as I’m typing this I received a message from Wylie simply saying “visit”.  

As fun as this has been, our workload has exploded.  We’ve taken on more new clients and are in full swing with our work with Warrior One (see this month’s Dream to Reality article).  We are organizing an ad campaign and have some very exciting projects lined up for February and March.  

In all of this, the Evolution of Wylie has been more interesting to watch.  He started the year creating a silent mini-commercial for some local advertising space we have.  When all was said and done the commercial was perfect but Wylie was not satisfied.  Even though the specs didn’t call for it, he added sound effects; working into the late hours of the night (simply because he was enjoying himself).  The difference was astounding.  I was actually disappointed that this would not be the product that would be seen (and heard).  So Wylie took it one step further and posted it on You Tube for everyone to see.  If I’ve got your attention peaked, it’s the new video on our home page...check it out and let us know what you think.
