Rise to the Occasion

Wylie.jpgIt’s hard to believe that Wylie can continue to evolve and out-do himself as he has in the past, but lately, he’s done just that.  I know it sounds insulting, but when he began re-designing roadrumble.com the actual words out of my mouth were, “it’s so good, it doesn’t even look like one of Wylie’s designs!”  Don’t get me wrong, Wylie’s work has always been remarkable – but this is something.

Now I’m usually the first person to praise his work, but his ability to continually evolve amazes even me.  After a while of working with someone

, their work becomes consistent, predictable and although Wylie continues to evolve, he’s really taken things to the next level again – a level I didn’t even know existed!

before.jpgThe evolution hasn’t just come in his design work – he has committed himself to grow on a business level as well.  I was amazed when he presented his 2011 Strategic Plan for dreamstoreality.ca and our business partners – it was well thought out, thorough and impressive to say the least.  Again, without sounding insulting, it was much more than I had expected of him.

after.jpgSo I’ve been impressed but now the challenge is on…can he continue to impress on that level with everything he does from here on out?  Can he take the next steps in his Strategic Plan and ensure the effective implementation of his ideas?  Can he create a mind-blowing website design for RT Natural Energy, which, by the way, was my challenge to him today.

I know him and I know he won’t disappoint.  He has so much riding on what he’s built with our business partners and his designs have literally become the face of so many companies that success is his only option.  Having said all that, his biggest concern right now is trying to figure out how to order a tea at Starbucks.  Should I be concerned?  I think not.
