“Work, Work, Work”

2.jpgIt seems as if all Wylie does lately is work. I’m not complaining, just noticing how he’s developed an incredible work ethic and drive to succeed.

I’ve been reading Jillian Michaels’ new book “Unlimited” and in it she says that you can accomplish anything you want in life, but you have to “do the work”. I think Wylie has embraced this concept whole-heartedly and I find it both motivating and impressive.

I would normally make some smart-ass quip about Wylie not having much of a life and so naturally, work would be at the forefront for him (I think I did get my dig in, but now onto my point). My point being that I see such a determination, a focus and an enjoyment that I know he’s truly living his dream – right now, in this moment.

Wylie spends hours, even days, researching and honing his skills and it’s obvious he’s enjoying what he’s doing. It’s not just about this incredible work ethic, he’s choosing to work because he’s found his passion and with each new evolution in his skills or project he creates, he gets even more excited! He’s excited about whatBeforeAfterSpider.jpg he’s learning, what he’s achieving and excited about the end result – being successful doing something he truly loves.

At this very moment, Wylie is the definition of living your dream. It’s not just about the end result – it’s about the journey you take to get there and the work that goes with it. Like Jillian says, anyone can achieve anything, but it’s those people who put in the work that make their dreams a reality.

The difference between someone who succeeds and someone who fails is persistence and never giving up. Once you give up, you have no chance to succeed. Sitting back and waiting for something to be handed to you also isn’t going to get you anywhere – if you want something, go and get it, just know that you have to work for it.

IMG_4003_1.jpgWylie has always wanted to prove others wrong – to show people that he can be successful. When he left everything to join Dreams people thought this was a phase that would end in failure. For the past year and a half, Wylie has worked his ass off to help build Dreams into the company it is today and he continues to work harder every day to make it the company that it will be tomorrow.

Great job Gypsy – and if you’re reading this, get back to work!!
Keep smiling~
