Wylie's Toys

I’m starting to realize that with design (or maybe it’s just men) that the toys are very important.

Wylie has a large, L-shaped desk which houses his equipment consisting of a Mac Book Pro, large monitor (no, I don’t know the size, but it’s big), a tablet, a wired keyboard a Magic Mouse and a flat screen TV.  To me, it’s computer geek heaven.  I’m sure to an actual computer geek it’s nothing special but I’m thinking he’s building a technological empire.  Obviously I’m not into computer toys.

One of his recent purchases has been a very fancy schmancy camera.  I think it’s a Canon Mark-something.  It has a huge lens (again, with boys, everything has to be big) and weighs enough to build forearms like Popeye’s and takes amazing pictures.

This toy in particular has become part of the family; it goes everywhere we go, eats with us, travels with us and is always in your face.  Seriously.  At first, this was difficult to get used to.  I’m usually pretty evasive when it comes to getting my picture taken and realized quickly that I better get on board or there will be a million horrible pictures of me floating around in Wylie’s time capsule just waiting to be released for any number of reasons.

Wylie, being the perfectionist that he is, is constantly trying to master the perfect picture under any circumstance.  In fact, he even brought our new little family member (a.k.a. the camera) on a recent trip to Las Vegas with us.  The outcome was two-fold…

First, Wylie is becoming quite the little photographer – this is of huge benefit to many of our clients who expect amazing photo galleries on their websites with high definition, artistic photos.

Second, I have become so accustomed to Wylie and his camera that no matter where he is, I know he’s there and ready to smile for the camera.

Here is a sample of some of Wylie’s most recent work – enjoy!

Keep smiling~
