Name: Bud Rewega
Dream: Start his own renovation company

Imagine the sense of fulfillment you’d get from starting a project from scratch, with-4.jpg nothing but a vision and making that vision a reality through your own hard work.  For Bud Rewega that sense of achievement is just the beginning.

Bud is driven not only by the sense of accomplishment he feels when completing renovations, but also by the happiness he sees in his clients’ faces.  The reward is being able to make someone else’s dream a reality while having the opportunity to live his own.

IMG_2458.jpgYou could say that contracting is in his blood; growing up, Bud’s Dad, uncles and cousins all worked in construction, contracting, carpentry or some related industry.  As a young child he would go to job sites with them and it was there that he learned the many lessons that make him who he is today.  He learned about hard work, enjoying what you do and making others smile.  Perfection was not an option and excellent customer service was achieved through personality, not a carefully constructed set of guidelines.

Through his teenage years and as a young adult, Bud worked in almost every trade - framing, plumbing, electrical, carpentry, roofing, concrete forming – you name it,IMG_2520.jpg he did it.  Exceptional customer service, professionalism and keeping a neat and organized workspace, especially when working in someone else’s home or space were qualities that were further engrained in him.  These ideals built the foundation of Right Step Renovations, but the rest of the blue print came from Bud wanting to do even better.

BudDad 1.jpgHe experienced the frustration of working alongside those who rushed through jobs, didn’t care about quality and made careless mistakes.  Each time he wanted to go back and do the job right, but those weren’t his decisions and he was at the mercy of his superiors.

Today precision and perfection are the root of every job, no matter how big or small.  Bud brings the same level of care, attention to detail and focus on doing a job properly to each and every job he completes; from building a custom shelf to finishing a basement, renovating a kitchen or completing an entire home renovation.

In 2010, Right Step Renovations completed a massive renovation on a 3500 square foot custom paint booth and this further fueled his belief that this is what he was meant to do.

The opportunity to do something he loves, something that brings happiness to the BudFamily1 1.jpgpeople he does the job for and to be his own boss is something that Bud takes very seriously.  After years of putting in the extra effort and going the extra mile, his hard work is finally paying off and he’s not stopping there.  With two young children, he’s hoping to teach them the same lessons he was taught as a child and to show them that achieving your dreams is possible.

Partnering with Right Step Solutions has given Bud the opportunity to follow his dream; something he couldn’t have done without this partnership.
