Well it’s been a while that’s for sure.  Since my last blog, things have really taken off for dreamstoreality.ca.  We have been incredibly busy, working long hours, trying to tie up loose ends for 2010 while planning for 2011 which is heating up to be a truly amazing year.  I’ve realized though, that in the craziness of “work” I’ve stepped away from my passion, so I thought I’d take advantage of this moment of inspiration…

We hosted another successful W-1 MMA event, this time in Halifax, Nova Scotia way back on October 23, 2010.  W-1 events are always a crazy time for our entire team – sleep is a luxury, hard work is a necessity and fun is always a priority.  We had some familiar faces return for this event and met some new fighters and their teams.  One thing I have to say about this past event – all of the guys were unbelievable to work with! 

There are so many misconceptions with the sport of mixed martial arts, but spend only a few hours with any of the professional fighters from the W-1 New Ground event and you will learn something about not only the sport, but the athletes who dedicate their lives to it.  I can say, with all honesty, we have some of the kindest, most respectful and polite men competing in this organization – the gentle giant Ruben Villarreal, the joker Pat Schilling, the stay-at-home dad Doug Evans and the team favourite Jason MacKay…these men bring integrity, passion and professionalism to the sport. 

A HUGE shout-out to W-1’s own Sean Pierson, who, after the New Ground event signed with the UFC and won his debut fight with them this past weekend!!

Our work with RT Natural Energy has been ramping up, preparing for mass marketing and sales in 2011.  We’ve been busy working on initial logo design, website and marketing and sales strategies to support the much anticipated product launch.  This has truly been a process for us as we knew very little about natural energy before meeting Paul and Elaine but have adopted their passion and know that their dream will revolutionize the natural energy market (check out the Dream to Reality section for more information on RT Natural Energy).

Then there’s a new project that we’ve spent hours researching – IBT; a commercial organization with a large humanitarian focus that produces products to promote healing, stop disease progression and assist with disease treatment.  I’ve been reading about macrophages, phagocytes and multiple other medical terms and I’m finally starting to get an understanding for what this company does.  I’ve reached the point where I know enough that I am absolutely on board with what they do – we are talking about ground breaking healing for multiple diseases, cancers and wounds, yet I couldn’t explain it to you in 100 words or less…when I get there, you’ll be the first to know.

Those are just a few of the exciting developments in the past few months.  We’ve continued to take on new partners and are in the process of helping them realize their dreams – all of which you’ll be able to read about here as I promise updates will come more frequently.
