What We Do

When you're self-employed the number one question you get from people is, “what do you do?”  For some people, the answer is easy – I’m an accountant; I’m a contractor; I’m a plumber.  For me, I’ve struggled with this answer.  What we do is complex and can be different with each business. 

I usually spew out something like, business consulting?  With a hopeful glance I pray that they might actually understand the complexity of our business, grasp the uniqueness of our overall business strategy and see the magnitude of possibility that we see everyday. 

Our involvement with each of our business partners can include the following: financial management, administrative processes, operating strategies, marketing and advertising, graphic design (logo, business cards, website, etc.), photography, video production, accounting, staffing, sales, etc, etc, etc.

Each business has its own unique marketplace, innovative ideas and potential for growth and success.  One day I could be working on website material for RT Natural Energy and the next creating a marketing strategy for Radical Rods, Rides & Restoration.  I could be working on a new logo concept for Shine Yoga & Wellness or storyboarding a new video for WestRock Productions. 

Everyday is different and it’s easy to keep the passion alive for each business because of its uniqueness.  Each of our business partners themselves are unique and its fun to feed off their excitement for their business and support them in every different stage.  Even the challenges are exciting because its always something new – problem solving for different markets requires a lot of thought and strategy.

I could talk for hours about any of the Dreamstoreality.ca Group of Companies and have a bad habit of focusing on what they do rather than what we do. Ultimately, what we do differs greatly for each business.  Our business strategy is for each business to thrive within its own marketplace while feeding off our other businesses in an effort to keeps costs efficient and support growth.  As each business grows, we grow and in turn, another business grows.  Its like we’ve created our own independent ecosystem while thriving in the world around us.  Does that make sense?
