When trying to come up with my bio I thought to myself, what should I say?  Should I talk about my experience and how I came to be a part of dreamstoreality.ca?  Well, to be honest, my experience may not seem that relevant or interesting.  So then I thought, well, what makes me interesting enough that people will read my bio? 

The following may not be “interesting” but hopefully you’ll find it mildly entertaining because if you can’t laugh at yourself, you’ve got a real problem.

Mac Facts:

1)   I swear like a trucker.  Picked up the habit a few years ago and can’t seem to kick it.  I tried a few times and then gave up because I realized, its just part of what makes me, well…me.  Think of all the proper people in this world who try not to swear and then think of the people you know who swear like truckers…bet there aren’t many and I bet they stand out (uhum, Rich).

2)   I am a disaster when brushing my teeth.  I don’t know what it is, but there is toothpaste everywhere – all over my face, dripping down the front of my shirt.  I’ve tried to pinpoint exactly what it is about my technique that causes this catastrophe and have been very unsuccessful.  I am, however, very good at cleaning up after myself.

3)   I do some pretty crazy things in my sleep – I have been known to talk, sing, make monkey noises, fight my dog and, of course, swear.  My husband enjoys recording my episodes and re-playing them for friends and family, which doesn’t really bother me anymore.  I am, apparently, very bothered by leprechauns with orange beards (Wylie Ford we all know this was directed at you).

4)   I refuse to be anyone other than me.  I am incapable of being even mildly fake towards someone.  If you think I don’t like you, you’re probably wrong because if I don’t like you, you’ll know it.  This is one of the things I love the most about my husband – he seems to love me even more when I’m the REAL me, to the fullest – dancing, singing and loving life!

5)   Music is my soundtrack to life.  I can relate songs to specific moments in time, people, feelings or thoughts that I’ve had in my life.  Music brings out the best in me, inspires me and makes me want to be a better person.  I am a country music star LOUD AND PROUD but enjoy anything that sounds good and I can (monkey) dance to!

And last but not least…

6)   I believe in helping others.  I have been burned many times and it has tainted me slightly, but I am a sucker for wanting to see others succeed, for their true happiness, or simply to help someone when they’re down and out.  Every morning and every night I thank God for another beautiful day in this world and know that I have been truly blessed with the life I live and, if only for a moment in time, I want others to feel that same sense of amazement, that sense of overwhelming joy and gratitude for being blessed with the life they live too.

P.S. My husband would like me to clarify that I’m not a vulgar swearer but an animated one – imagine a cartoon character that swears and maybe dances ;)
